Laser hair removal has more science behind it than you think. It is a full on physics science experiment each time a client steps through our doors. 

It’s not a “one setting that fits all” type of treatment and the settings are tailored to each person. We never just use preset settings! The Laser Lounge Media City’s new laser hair removal machine is a triple wavelength meaning more hairs can be treated with one machine.

This machine contains three types of laser. Bear with me I’m going to get a bit technical. 

About the laser

1. Alexandrite 755nm- This is most suitable for light coloured, thin hair. Like downy facial hair.
2. Diode 808nm- This is a red light and is suitable for most hair types. (This is what our other machine is) It can penetrate deep into the skin to the dermis and through any fat cells. So it can zap all hairs at any depth in the skin.
3. Nd:YAG 1064nm- Is the laser that penetrates the deepest in the skin to get those deep stubborn hairs. 

The blend of all three makes the treatment the best in the business. So all in all, this laser is the all singing, all dancing method of laser hair removal.
